The founder and general overseer of Vida Bethel Prayer Ministry, Dr Prophetess Mrs Vida Osei Mensah, popularly known as Maa Vida, has donated more than 3,000 relief items to church members, widows, and other vulnerable persons as part of the ministry’s annual end-of-year charity outreach.
The donation exercise, held on December 31 at Aprade-Pakoso in the Ashanti Region, forms part of the church’s long-standing commitment to supporting the less privileged within its congregation and surrounding communities.

Items distributed included cloth (ntoma), bags of rice, cooking oil, mackerel, tins of tomatoes, and other essential household supplies.
Beneficiaries were drawn from both the church and the local community, with the initiative aimed at easing economic hardships and spreading joy during the festive season.
Addressing the gathering, Maa Vida said the donation was an act of thanksgiving to God for His protection throughout the year and a demonstration of Christian love, compassion, and care for humanity.

She emphasised that giving back to society is a core Christian responsibility and encouraged members to cultivate a lifestyle of generosity and service.
She also used the occasion to caution the youth against negative influences, urging them to be mindful of their friendships, movements, and lifestyle choices.

According to her, the company one keeps can either build or destroy one’s future.
“Not every path or companion leads to success,” she advised, encouraging young people to commit their lives to God and allow Him to guide their decisions toward a purposeful and meaningful future.
Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the support, describing the items as timely assistance that would help reduce household burdens.

Widows and other vulnerable recipients, in particular, praised the initiative, noting its positive impact on their lives.

The annual charity outreach has become a hallmark of Vida Bethel Prayer Ministry, underscoring the church’s dedication to social responsibility and community development.

The initiative continues to inspire individuals and organisations to extend compassion and support to those in need.
