“It’s 70.5% of the gross FOV price. It is equivalent to $1821.00 per tonne. It is the highest we pay to cocoa farmers across West Africa in some 50 years. With predictive stable prices above the 2600 United States dollars threshold”.

The government will continue through the Cocoa Board to adopt innovations in and improve the welfare of Ghanaian farmers through the implementation of productivity enhancement programs and remunerative producer prices.

“I’m confident that the programs implemented by Cocoa Board will enable us to attain a significant level of self-reliance, promote industrialization, and provide adequate questions against the adverse effects of Price Songs. We will not relent on our promise of helping to create positive and permanent changes in the cocoa and agricultural sectors of our economy”.

He called on Ghanaian farmers to work together towards a sustainable cocoa economy that delivers increasing and continuous benefits to our tenant founders and all stakeholders in the value chain.

” Once again, I ask every Ghanaian to consume cocoa products every day. As we consume cocoa products, we stay healthy and grow the economy”.
