He supported his claim by the role he played at the supreme court during the 2012 election petition hearing.

A rousing welcome for the vice president, perhaps a major boost for his bid in the Ashanti region

The majority leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, former mp for Subin and boss of Tor, Isaac Osei led the NPP presidential hopeful.

Chief of Agric Nzema, Nana Boadu Nkansah Ayeboafo openly declared his support for the vice president and asked NPP delegates to vote for him.

“When I  was in the witness box to speak for the party in 2012 where were those saying ‘Aduru woso’ fashion”?

The former member of parliament for Manhyia North and Ashanti regional campaign coordinator of Alan Kyeremanteng described Dr Bawumiah’s comment as frivolous.
