Majority leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu has confirmed the npp MPs in parliament will corporate and allow the finance minister Ken Ofori atta to present the 2023 budget to the house.

According to the majority leader the president has again pleaded with them to allow Ken Ofori atta present the budget and hopefully by December the president will do the needful by acting on their demand to remove the minister from office.

He says the caucus came to consensus after the president pleaded with them at crunch meeting to allow the finance minister to present the budget on Thursday, November 24,2022 if possible.

He added,they majority caucus haven’t  back down their early decision but want to respect the president call.

He also reiterated,the decision whether Ken Ofori Atta must go after the budget presentation depend on the president agreement both parties reached.

“We will not boycott the budget presentation and appropriation bills ,we will  come as we usually play our role as member of Parliament”.

The majority leader spoke with respect to a communique issued by both parties (The Majority caucus and the NPP party) after they had a deliberation on Ken must go impasse between the majority caucus and the president.
