Alan Kojo Kyeremanteng former trade and industry minister who is in the race to represent the new Patriotic party in the 2024 general elections has started his campaign tour of the upper east region ahead of the party’s primaries to elect the flagbearer.
Part of his schedule in the upper east region is to engage the clergy, chiefs and imams, traders at the Bolgatanga central market and party delegates to make his intentions known to them to run for the high office of president
Hundreds of party supporters and sympathisers accompanied Alan Kyeremanteng and his team took over the principal streets of Bolgatanga on a mammoth walk to partially interact with residents.
The team visited the main Bolgatanga lorry station on foot as Alan Kyeremanteng waved drivers and travelers.
They later ended the walk to the Bolgatanga central market where the team was given a rousing welcome as market women throws away monies towards Alan Kyeremanteng to show appreciation for his intention to contest in the presidential primaries.
