It has emerged that the man who allegedly shot and killed 26-year-old Victoria Dapaa, also known as Maadwoa at Adum in Kumasi is a married police inspector with children.

An eyewitness had told our News Team from Akoma87.9FM in Kumasi that Maadwoa, the deceased, was shot multiple times on the night of Thursday, April 20, 2023, by the police inspector.

The eyewitness who saw a heated argument between the duo moments before her death said, her killer –the police officer and alleged boyfriend of the deceased –had accused her of cheating.

“At first we thought he was an armed robber, then we heard Maadwoa, mentioned Tony’s name and plead with him not to kill her because she hasn’t cheated on him. But he wouldn’t listen, he shot her 6 times. The police before picking up her body retrieved 5 empty shells; they retrieved one more shell later,” the eyewitness narrated.

Meanwhile, a brother of the deceased had said he prevented the sister from seeing her boyfriend that night but all to no avail.

“For a very strange reason, I was preventing my sister from meeting her boyfriend that night, but she just ignored me,” he disclosed.

Meanwhile, a video currently going viral on social media has the alleged police officer calling a trusted relative of his and informing her of the crime he committed and the possible action he is going to take.

Per the voice heard in the video alleged to be that of the police officer, he said he has been caring for the deceased well as a boyfriend but all Maadwoa could offer in return was to maltreat him.

He added he will take his life to put an end to all the brouhaha.
