National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress Johnson Aseidu Nketia has stated that unless justice and truth are served in the interest of voters, peace can never be assured.
He noted that the sustenance of peace is the key responsibility of the President who directs affairs of the various security agencies
Johnson Aseidu Nketia was speaking at Afrancho in the Offinso North Constituency ,Ashanti region on the first day of his three day campaign tour of the region.
Chairman Aseidu Nketia as part of his Ashanti Regional tour will visit four constituencies.
They include Offinso North, Offinso South, Afigya Kwabre North and South.
Johnson Aseidu Nketia reaffirmed the commitment of his party to peace but insisted the President has a key role to play.
He urged traditional rulers to call on President Akufo-Addo to be an agent of peace and justice
the constituents at Afrancho to vote for the NDC come December 7.
