Teachers union demands prompt reinstatement of Ghanasco’s headmistress

The Ghana National Association of Teachers has called on GES to reinstate the headmaster of Ghanasco without delay.

According to GNAT the Ghana education service has flouted the pre-education act and should rather be concerned about paying capitation grants and subventions to schools.

He called on the GES to reinstate the head of school and rather focus on paying capitation grants and other subventions.

The president of the coalition of concerned Teachers CCT GH King Ali Awudu also Pleaded with GES to speed up its investigations.

In a related development, the president of CCT has again asked the GES to be swift with investigations into the Fijai school saga.

The headmaster of Fijai senior high school in the western region has been interdicted for illegal charging of fees.
