The lifeless body of the third victim of the Daboase drowning disaster has been retrieved after traditional leaders of the community poured libation.
The deceased, Richard Baidoo, a first-year Technical Student, was among a group of seven students who defied school rules and went swimming in the Subri River last Saturday but unfortunately, three got drowned in the River that had overflown its banks because of incessant rains
Bodies of two of the victims, Christian Dennis Acquah and Lesley Nana Yaw Ampong were retrieved on the same day by a combined team of police and fire personnel
The search team continued their efforts the next day but could not find the third victim
Libation and other traditional rites were performed on Monday morning and soon afterwards, the third victim was found at exactly 10:44, fire personnel confirmed to uniquenewsgh news.
The body is currently being sent to the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital Morgue.
