Pull down the image of my daughter Doreen Manu Adabor; she is alive not dead,Hon. Francis Manu-Adabor cautions media houses

 

The member of Parliament for  Ahafo South East Hon. Francis Manu-Adabor has issued a disclaimer on his daughter’s  image published by some media houses across the country and beyond purported to be a deceased who died as result of fire outbreak at Apromase in the Oforikrom Municipality indicate that said lady is his daughter and she is alive not dead as reported.

“My attention has been drawn to the horrific incident that happened in the early hours of today concerning a fire outbreak that took the lives of a police officer, his wife and child at Oforikrom -Apromase in the Ashanti Region.

I would like to state categorically that, the picture of the lady in circulation on many media stations and online portals clothed in a pink and white dress with a small boy sitting on her, is my daughter, called Dorean Manu Adabor who is alive and even out of the country.

“My daughter is not the one involved in the horrific incident and I am emphatically telling all media house  to pull down her image and render unqualified apology to the family members and herself, before any legal action will be taken.

“I have personally seen the video on TV3 midday news, Onua TV Online portal and Onua Tv Facebook page and other stations.

We the family are highly disappointed in the reportage of such media houses for not carrying out proper checks before posting this false image.

This very issue has made my wife sick this morning and as stated earlier, all affected media stations are to pull down the image of my daughter Doreen Manu Adabor within 24 hours or face the law”.
