President Akufo Addo has commissioned 312 housing units for the Ghana police service and promised to reaffirm his commitment to improving the welfare of security personnel in the country.
The president, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo says his administration will continue to prioritise the welfare of security personnel in the country to motivate them to discharge their duties without reservations.
The president made the comments when he commissioned three hundred and twelve housing units for the Ghana Police Service at Kwabenya. The edifice entails a model police basic school, clinic and a sports arena. President Akufo Addo also acknowledged the improved service delivery of the police in the country.
The inspector general of police Dr George Akuffo Dampare on behalf of the police service expressed appreciation to the president for the project and assured him that the project will be efficiently utilized to achieve its intended purpose.
