Speaking at the opening of a four day national land conference in Accra, the president called for an objective analysis of the current customary land tenure system to ensure sanity.
Traditional leaders, stool land owners and users are converging for the four day conference to deliberate on pertinent issues and provide recommendations in addressing specific land sector challenges.
The conference will seek to increase public knowledge and stakeholder participation in the new land act and promote the development of an implementation strategy and advocate for the operationalization of implantation strategy.
