Nkawkaw: Blind man beheads wife for threatening to divorce him

A 71-year-old blind man has beheaded his wife at Nkawkaw Abepotia in the Kwahu West municipality of the Eastern region.

Information has it that the victim, George Mudor, has been married to his 65-year-old deceased wife, Georgina, for
28 years.

According to him, Mr. Mudor was not blind from birth but only contracted the ailment about five years ago.

The deceased wife has since been threatening him with divorce which did not go well with him.

The 71-year-old man says the wife is ungrateful to have enjoyed all the goodies of life with him only to to be threatening him with divorce after going blind.

The man decided to end his wife’s life before implementing her threats of divorcing him one day.

On the dawn of Tuesday, March 14, 2023, he beheaded his wife whilst she was asleep.

Georgina’s body has since been deposited at the Holy Family Hospital morgue for autopsy whilst the suspect, George Mudor, is assisting the Nkawkaw police with investigations.
