Dr. Clement Clinton Blay has Declared his intention to contest the Parliamentary primaries of the National Democratic Congress in Ellembele to Unseat the incumbent member of parliament.
The philanthropist said, he will challenged the member of parliament Emmanuel Armah Buah when the party opens the Parliamentary nomination.
Known widely as Dr. C. Blay explained that his bid to represent the constituency is a manifestation of his belief that the time has arrived for the youth to play frontal role in the development of the area.
The Ellembele NDC Branch Executive member, Dr. C. Blay explained that he is in touch with not just the base of the NDC but the youth in the constituency and he is confident of his chances.
Stressing that, it’s time for more action and less talk in order to develop the Ellembele Constituency.
Declaring his bid to journalists on Monday, 6th February, 2023, he said that, much has recognized the good works done by the current MP, he believes that the development has been slow-paced and that with him in the saddle, the development in the heart of Nzema will be expedited.
Dr. Clement Clinton Blay who is the Chief Executive Officer for Shaip Africa Foundation noted that his philanthropist background will enable him establish contact and relationships with relevant stakeholders to provide equal opportunities for the youth.
He appealed to his followers and the delegates of the NDC in Ellembele to trust him with their votes, expressing that his arrival as MP will lead to total dominance of the party in the constituency.
He stated emphatically he has all it takes to lead the NDC party in Ellembele hence delegates should ignore Emmanuel Armah Buah for a new brain to lead the party as parliamentary candidate into the 2024 general elections.
Dr. Clement Clinton Blay has been promised to build a community of equal opportunities for the NDC grassroots and the youth in Ellembele if he is given the chance to lead the party.
He has named his slogan for his campaign as #Obiaa B3 Didi, to wit, equal opportunity for all.
Dr. Clement Blay attended Ghana Secondary Technical School, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology to attain Bachelor of Pharmacy. He proceeded to further his education at the University of London – Bachelor of Laws. He holds Masters in Public Health Management and Doctor of pharmacy degree.
Mr. Blay is a law graduate, Economist, policy analyst, QPPV and a public health expert, a business man and convener for Citizens For Truth And Accountably, Ghana (CITAG).
