National Democratic Congress Branch Chairman for Dunkwa-Kadadwen Nkansah Daaho “B” in the Uppers Denkyira East Constituency of the Central Region has attacked and shot dead by suspected armed robbers.
He was shot dead through his head which pulled out his brains.
Information gathered by uniquenewsgh revealed that the deceased Emmanuel Acquah,36, was on Thursday, May,4,2023 the evening was returning from a gold mining site when he was attacked and shot dead.
The gold together with the money on the was taken away by these armed robbers.
According to the source, the deceased was driving two Chinese gold dealers in a vehicle with registration number GW-4794-Y driving on the Tweapiase- Obuase road in the Akrofuom District in the Ashanti Region.
The report says, upon reaching a section of Tweapiase a group of people numbering about five who were suspected to be armed robbers crossed them and fired gunshots at the driver who was the National Democratic Congress Branch Chairman in the Upper Denkyira East Constituency.
The Chinese Nationals who were in the vehicle quickly Open the door and run away into the nearby bush.
The Father of the deceased Mr.Acquah then condemned the acts and said, he was at the house when he got a distress call that his son has been attacked and shot but receiving treatment at the Obuasi Hospital he quickly rushed to the Hospital only to be found the lifeless body of his son.
He called the police to strengthen the security-wise in the area.
Meanwhile, the Upper Denkyira East Constituency Chairman Swanzy John Arhin also appealed to the Police to do a massive investigation into the matter and arrest all perpetrators.
He said, the party will support the family. He said this wasn’t the First time such an incident has happened in the area so he is calling on the Police to beef up the security-wise.
Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Obuasi-Mangoase Government Hospital Mortuary for autopsy and Preservation.
He Left behind a wife and three Children.
