Confusion erupted outside the premises of the cape coast court Tuesday morning after court sitting of the Mankessim murder case involving the murder and of deceased prospective nursing trainee which 3 accused persons are standing trial at a cape coast court.
A near scuffle begun when one person believed to be a relative of of the third accused person Jonathan Obeng tried to attack a journalist from filming the accused persons when they were being escorted to a waiting but to be sent back to police custody and threatening the journalist as well.
This infuriated some family members of the deceased who also took the fight upon themselves and pounced on the person and turn the place into a chaotic scene.
It took the intervention of some members of the public present to calm tempers which gave the one who did the attack to flee.
According to them , the action of the relative of the third accused angered them and forced them to react that way while raining insults and curses on him.
Meanwhile the court has adjourned the case to November 8th to allow prosecutors more time for investigation.
The brother of the deceased Alfred Dodoo who is also the complainant of the case in an interview told uniquenewsgh.com the family is still trying hard to recover from the shock and pain and is satisfied which proceedings of the case so far but want justice to be served.
