Mr Prince Yeboa who is a native of Berekum-Koraso in the Bono East region has allegedly connived and conspired with a fetish priest to murder his four-year-old baby for suffering from Autism.
According to an eyewitness,” a father of a four-month-old baby who is a level 200 student at the University of Ghana(LEGON), Prince Yeboa popularly known as Dj Poli has hired one self-acclaimed fetish priest known in Drobo-Yamiensa as Nana to kill his four-month-old son, Baba Junior at Berekum-Koraso Station after suspected the child to be Autistic baby(‘Nsuoba’)”.
The incident happened on Monday, September 5, 2023, around 7:30 pm when the aforementioned priest came to Berekum to execute his job by suffocating the innocent baby till he passed out after he charged the father an amount of eight hundred Ghana cedi(8,00GH).
The father again secretly took the baby and buried the dead body in Nsapor cemetery on the same night together with Yeboa’s mother, Mad Ama Paulina,
Upon hearing the sad incident, the Akwaaba radio team visited the family house of the baby’s mother and it was then confirmed that they were not aware of the whole barbaric move of the baby’s father.
Although they reported the case to the Berekum Divisional Police headquarters which caused the arrest of the mother of the baby’s father on Wednesday afternoon but later the police released them to resettle the matter on legal grounds.
