The Ashanti Regional Police command is on a manhunt for the killer of a 26-year-old lady at Adum in Kumasi.
Maame Adwoa was shot multiple times on Thursday night by the suspect, whose name has been given as Tony aka Tycoon
Just behind the Dufie Towers is the family house of the victim Victoria Dapaah, also known as Maadwoa.

Family and friends sob for the 26-year-old lady killed in cold blood.
The incident happened at 10 PM yesterday, April 20, 2023, around Aseda House, according to an eyewitness report. Speaking to uniquenewsgh news, the eyewitness stated that, the lady known only as Maa Adjoa and her boyfriend (Tycoon) together with another lady were seen conversing around 8 PM.
“At about 10 PM, a misunderstanding broke out between Maa Adjoa and Tycoon. The young man accused his girlfriend of cheating and she denied it. The young man pulled a gun and the girlfriend pleaded, “Tycoon don’t kill me, I’ve not cheated on you.
An eyewitness who saw a heated argument moments before her death, her killer, an alleged boyfriend of the deceased had accused her of cheating, “at first we thought he was an armed robber, then we heard Maadwoa, mentioned Tony’s name and pleading with him not to kill her because she hasn’t cheated on him. But he wouldn’t listen, he shot her 6 times. The police before picking up her body retrieved 5 empty shells; they retrieved one more shell later”.
The Brother of the deceased Emmanuel aka Big Joe said he did all he could to prevent his sister from stepping out that fateful night, but she ignored him.
“For a very strange reason, I was preventing my sister from meeting her boyfriend that night, but she just ignored me”.
The police are currently, gathering relevant information to hunt down the alleged suspect Tagor who is now a fugitive.
The body of the deceased is currently at Komfo Anokye Morgue for autopsy.
