Koforidua High Court sentences Yilo Krobo Paramount Chief to 4 days in prison.

The Koforidua High Court sentenced the paramount chief of the Yilo Krobo traditional area, Nene Oklepeme Nuer Anorbah Sasraku ll, to four days in prison on May 12, 2025, for disrespecting the court.

The court, which was presided over by Her Lordship Jennifer Anne Myers, convicted the paramount chief Sasraku ll, following his consistent failure to appeal before the court in an impending case that involved him.

The paramount chief, after being slapped with the 4-day prison term, was also compelled to sign a six-month bond of good behavior and show respect to the court.
