KMA MAYOR PROMISES TO REKINDLE KOTOKO’S FAN BASE

The Mayor of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, Mr Richard Ofori Agyemang, also known as King Zuba, paid a surprise visit to the Asante Kotoko dressing room after their 4-1 victory over Dreams FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the players and technical team for their outstanding performances.

Hon. Richard Ofori Agyemang Boadi made a donation to the team and promised to join them in Bibiani next Sunday when Kotoko faces GoldStars.

He also expressed strong confidence in the team’s chances of returning to continental competition soon.

The Mayor encouraged the players to stay focused and win their remaining league games in order to attract more fans back to the stadium.

He also stated that he and Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Amoakohene will begin visiting the various Circles (supporters’ groups) to encourage fan participation in Kotoko’s activities and rekindle fan enthusiasm for the club.
