Kintampo Accident: 17 Bodies Buried at Kintampo cemetery

Seventeen (17) out the the twenty three (23) persons who died through the fatal accident that occurred in Kintampo in the Bono East Region have been buried whilst two bodies have been transported to their home towns in the northern region for burial.

The burial ceremonies took place on 6th  and 7th March,2023 at the public cemetery in Kintampo.

Fourteen out of the seven were buried in line with Islamic tradition.

The burial took place following the identification of the bodies at the mortuary by relatives of the deceased.

The remaining four(4) bodies, as at the time of filling this report, were yet to be identified and conveyed from the mortuary.

“We have also gathered, one of the remaining four injured persons on admission at the Kintampo Municipal Hospital has been referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching hospital for specialist care two more others have been discharged bringing the number of discharged patients to 20. The only victim left at the facility now is also in stable condition, according doctor’s report”.
