The Ghana Police Service has announced the arrest of the last suspect in the deadly robbery on a Mobile Money agent in Kasoa in the Central Region on Tuesday, December 20.

Ahmed, who is popularly known as Arrested, was nabbed on Monday, January 2 through a sustained police intelligence operation.

He was arrested at Nyanyano, a suburb of Kasoa.

On Friday, December 30, 2022, police announced the arrest of three of the suspects – one later dying at the Police Hospital – for the robbery

The surviving suspects – Michael Otu and Asaa Faisal – were put before the Ofaakor District Court on Thursday, December 29 and remanded to reappear on Thursday, January 12.

Police also promised to arrest the last suspect.

“He is currently in police custody assisting investigation and will be put before court accordingly,” the police said in a statement on Tuesday, January 3.
