A 21-year-old man called Bright Larvie has been arrested by the Awutu Bereku District Police command for allegedly killing his 3-week-old baby boy for money rituals at Fetteh Kakraba in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
The suspect and his wife are living in the same vicinity but in different houses.
Sources say around 11:00 p.m., the suspect came to her wife’s house to see her and the 3-week-old son, not knowing he had a different intention.
In an interview with Akoma News, the Developmental Chief for Gomoa Mamfam, Richard Egyir, who led the search team, revealed that when the suspect came to the house, he called his wife for a short discussion outside the house, not knowing he had informed his friend to bypass them and take the child from the room.
Richard Egyir said that when the wife returned to his room, the child was nowhere to be found.

He said that when he asked him, they confirmed that he had cut off his son’s head.
Currently, both the wife and the husband have been arrested.
Furthermore, the chief of Fetteh Kakraba, Nana Essel Amoanquando, expressed shock and charged the youth to work hard and desist from looking for quick money.
