Man believed to be in his late 30’s has been beaten to a state of unconsciousness and dragged to Awutu Bereku Police station after he attempted to behead a woman and wounded another person at Gomoa Mamfam in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
Police sources says, the the victim went to Gomoa Mamfam new site to cut off the woman head for rituals but he was arrested by area boys after the woman started shouting for help.
Gomoa East District has been classified as Hot spot in tems of Criminal activities according National security report.
In an interview with uniquenewsgh Kojo Baah, a resident of Awutu Bereku Police station say, they were at the police station when the saw somebody inside a kia truck to the police station.
According to Kojo Baah ,when they asked the driver of the kia truck, he told them that, the suspect tried to kill a woman at Gomoa Mamfam after the victim denied him food he requested for.
