The woman who dumped her two weeks old baby boy in a laterine at Potsin in the Gomoa East District of the central region has been arrested.
In an off-camera conversation DSP David Osei Fofie confirmed the arrest to uniquenewsgh.com,the suspect Bakusu Maria, 26 has been handed over to the Kasoa Divisional DOVVSU for ongoing investigation.
A two weeks old baby boy was on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 rescued from a laterine after he was spotted by a man who had visited the facility.
The baby was rushed to the Gomoa Potsin Polyclinic where he is undergoing medical examination.
Currently the child is alive and responding to treatment Gomoa Potsin Polyclinic.
It will be recalled that on Tuesday 9,2022 a resident of Gomoa Potsin one Mr.Gyamfi Isaac,who visited the toilet facility early morning to ease himself heard a loud cry of a baby causing him to peep into hole and found the baby inside the latrine which made him called for people attention to recuse the baby.
