A 28 year old driver has been killed,beheaded and dumped in an uncompleted Senior High School building at Ajumako Mando in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District of the Central Region.
Report gathered revealed that,the victim Bernard Botwey was a taxi driver who usually ply Ekumfi Esaakyir taxi station to Ajumako road but for about three days now, he was nowhere to be found.
According to eyewitness report, three men on Saturday October 29,2022 evening around 7:00 pm hired the driver from Ekumfi Esaakyir to Enyan Abaasa but never returned back to work.
His colleague taxi drivers together with his family reported the case to the police Station for his search but were not able to found him.
On Tuesday, November 1,2022 in the afternoon around 2:00 pm,residents leaving around a Senior High School in the Ajumako Mando heard a strange stench so they decided to searched the particular place where the stench was emanating from till they found a lifeless body of a man which was almost decomposed in uncompleted school building.
“Examined the body seems he was tied with a rope,the body was inflicted with Cutlass wounds, his head too was chopped off and striped naked by assailants.”
Currently the body has been deposited at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital Mortuary for autopsy and Preservation whiles the Ajumako District Police Command has commenced investigation in the sad incidents.
The taxi with registration number GT-6188-20 was also taken away by the perpetrators.
