C/R: A Final-year SHS student butchered over GHS5.00

David Kwaku Nkrumah, 21 who is a final year electricals student of Hemang Technical SHS in the Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira district of the central region is battling for his life at the Emergency ward of Twifo Praso district hospital.

The victim and the suspect whose only popular name given is Salinco, a 45-year-old mason who are both residents of Twifo Wawase in the aforementioned district on Friday 05/05/2023, attended a vigil (wake keeping) at Twifo Jankobo. After the wake keeping, the victim boarded the same taxi with the suspect (Salinco) back to Twifo Wawase.

When they alighted from the taxi, Salinco (the suspect) announced the loss of his mobile phone in the car. After a few minutes of carefully searching in the car, the victim found the phone for the suspect. However, the suspect then again complained that his Gh5.00 was part of the phone that got lost so if the victim has found the phone then he must also produce the money in addition.

The victim explained that he only found the mobile phone without the money. The suspect (Salinco) never agreed with the victim (David Kwaku Nkrumah) and threatened to butcher him if he fails to produce the GH5.00 after three days.

Lo and behold, Salinco has this morning butchered David Kwaku Nkrumah who is a final year electricals student of Hemang Technical SHS in the Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira district.
