A Taxi Driver in his 20 year’s has been killed and hugged beside a tree at the road side and his taxi was snatched away by the unknown assailants at Winneba “Komfo Addai” in the Effutu Municipality of the Central Region.
Information gathered from the residents indicate that, he was hired by said unknown assailants to Winneba Secondary School and upon reaching the middle of the road, the perpetrators tied the deceased with a rope till he was pass on.
In an interview with uniquenewsgh reporter Nana Yaw Asare, an eyewitness Kwesi Annan indicates that “i suspect the perpetrators applied the deceased face with Abonik cream before he was tied him with a rope because i saw a bag contained a rope and substance believed to be Abonik cream around the deceased “.
The Effutu divisional police command has deposited the body at the mortuary for autopsy while the police commenced investigation into the murder of the poor taxi driver.
