Residents of Dawomako in the Assin South District of the Central Region, have been thrown into a state of shock and dismay following the death of a woman in his 30s.
The deceased, Akua Panin is said to have sent her two-month-old baby to the Assin Anyinabirem Health Center for circumcision, right after the deceased arrived home with the circumcised son, she collapsed and died instantly.
In this light, the family has attributed it to spirituality.
According to them, the deceased had not shown any sign of sickness so, to die immediately after the circumcision of the child, they believe the death is bound with spirituality.
Meanwhile, some of the family who was saddened by the mysterious death said the family is now engulfed with breastfeeding difficulties and the child cannot eat any hard food.
Also, there is no breastfeeding mothers in the small community, and are characterized by financial difficulties.
They, therefore, appealed to the general public to come to their aid.
