The Ashanti Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, Francis Adomako, has revealed that the party is being run by a one-man showmanship
He made such comments regarding a letter signed by the Regional Secretary inviting the Manhyia South Constituency Chairman to appear before the Committee due to a petition presented by Paul Yandoh, Regional Communications Director, for showing indiscipline actions against the Ashanti regional chairman of the NPP, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako, aka Chairman Wontumi.
He regrets that the majority of the elected executives of the party are left in the dark about decisions taken and implemented in the region, as only one person makes all the decisions
Dr Francis Adomako, speaking on GhanAkoma on Akoma FM morning show with the host Kofi Asanti, says if immediate steps are not taken to streamline the activities of the party in the region, it will have dire repercussions on the fortunes of NPP in the region
He also disclosed that his deputy organizer appointment was done without his consultation.
“My deputy was imposed on me without my consent, which doesn’t give him the needed respect. He does things on his own about the fact that he doesn’t report to the regional organizer”, he noted.
On whether the NPP can break the 8, the Regional Organizer stressed the need for the National Council to, as a matter of urgency meet all the elected executives of the party and the Regional Executives Committee to resolve their grievances.
To buttress the points of the Constituency Chairmen, Regional Organizer of the NPP Francis Adomako questioned the legality of that Committee
He also stressed that the Regional Executives Committee, which includes the Constituency Chairmen, has not met to constitute any committee.
Meanwhile, the Ashanti Regional Constituency Chairmen of the New Patriotic Party have shot down an invitation by a supposedly disciplinary committee to haul Manhyia South Constituency Chairman Richard Ofori Atta, aka ‘Tomtom’ before it.
The Chairman of the Constituency Chairmen, Fiifi Mensah, who is the Bantama Chairman, told Kofi Asante that their member wouldn’t appear before any committee.
