Arise Ghana  group’s legal team mounted an unsuccessful response to the application moved by the GPS this morning at an Accra High Court.

The group however says it will appeal the decision by the court as the Revolution Square opposite the Flagstaff is the only venue that embodies the ethos of the demonstration.

They say going along with the prescribed routes and arrangements by the Ghana Police will set a bad precedent for how the right to demonstrate is exercised in the country.

The group says it will not relent in it’s efforts prevail and is hopeful a picketing at the Revolution Square will happen eventually.
