A/R;Journalists in Kumasi take bribe to make npp unpopular – NAPO

 

The Member of parliament for Manhyia South and the Minister of Energy, Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh is accusing journalists in Kumasi to have taken bribes from some groups to make ruling government unpopular in its stronghold. 

Even though, he did not mention any media houses of those journalists,” but said some journalists have taken money and they sit on radio to insult the government and the officials”

According to him, their plan is to make the NPP unpopular in the Ashanti Region but the government is going well in the region.

He was speaking at the sod-cutting ceremony of Suame 4-tier interchange in the Ashanti region.

“Nana Addo has come to cut-sod for Suame interchange whiles some section of journalists sit on their radio station to rain insults on NPP government for not commence Suame interchange , I want to tell you Suame interchange is not only road in Ashanti region, so if your talking weigh your speech’,Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh  lamented.
