Family members and friends of 33-year-old Euginia Boaduwaa Adu protested and accused the CEO and a doctor of Orma Hospital in the Tafo Pankrono municipality of the Ashanti Region.
The family has demanded justice for the death of their daughter who died at the Orma Hospital urging the government and Ghana Medical Association to establish an independent investigation into her death.
According to the family, Euginia couldn’t urinate for about three days after going through C.S. and complained for hours that she was in pain during the birth of her child.
They claim the doctor who perform the operation Dr Orma failed to sign a referral letter for the family to Komfo Anokye teaching hospital after he cut the bladder of the deceased and allege the doctor who is also the CEO of the said hospital neglected them resulting in her death.
They’re now calling for an independent investigation by the government of Ghana.
