The family of the late Kwabena Azure, a 25 year old self-employed, who was butchered to death by a group of gang on Wednesday, at Sofo Abodwese , Krofrom East Electoral area in the Kumasi Metropolis of the Ashanti region is demanding justice.
According the reports, the murder was a revenge embarked by the suspects who were defeated by the deceased in a brawl on January 25,2023.
He is alleged to have been stabbed multiple times on his body with knives, cutlass and axe, killing him instantly.
Father of the deceased, Charles Azure who narrated the trauma the family is going through, disclosed to uniquenewsgh that there haven’t been any arrest since the incident happened.
He appealed to the police to act immediately to bring justice for his son.
The wife of the deceased, Eda Opoku says her husband went out with a friend to buy food, only to hear that he was dead. She called on the police to arrest the perpetrators.
“Soon after my husband left, I got a surprise message by friends that my husband has been murdered by some people who he had a scuffle with on January 25, 2022,” the grieving wife said.
“I am sure that his death was revenge by the suspects he beat them in 2022, that led to one of them losing a finger during the battle,” she cried uncontrollably.
The body has been since been deposited at the Ebenezer Mortuary Centre for preservation, while police are to start investigation.
Kwabena Azure left behind a wife and four children.
