A/R, I TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OF CURRENT ECONOMIC HARDSHIP-PREZ AKUFO-ADDO

President Akufo-Addo has said he takes full responsibility of the current economic difficulty, but stated one cannot gloss over the external factors.

This is the first time the president has publicly owned up, as the country’s micro economy continues to be challenged “I am the leader and I take responsibility” he told host of Otec fm morning show during an interview on Monday.

The president was however, oprimistic, the economy will recover before he finishes his term “I hope the IMF support is concluded in middle of November so we can feed it into our budget” he said.

President Akufo-Addo also stressed “my hope is to take Ghana out of IMF be-dire I finish my term.”
