2 dead after Skyarrow microlight helicopter crash at Oninku, Community 1, Tema
Reports reaching 3news have it that a Skyarrow microlight aircraft has crashed in Tema, Community 1, site 17.
Eyewitnesses say the incident occurred at about 3:30 pm.
Ghana Fire Service personnel are on the ground assessing the situation and providing necessary assistance.
“Two bodies have been received,” a GNFS official said.
The reports further indicate that the accident occurred on a school compound.
Meanwhile, all teachers and pupils have been evacuated from the scene.
The scene of the incident has also been cordoned off to prevent interference.
Men from the Aircraft Incidents and Accident Investigation Bureau are said to be moving to the site.
