Mr. Andrews Nana Kwasi, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Ashanti Regional Chairman, has expressed gratitude to H.E. John Dramani Mahama for appointing Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti regional NDC Secretary, as Regional Minister designate for parliamentary vetting.
Dr. Frank Amoakohene is a medical doctor and youth leader who specializes in healthcare, governance, and public service.
He has a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Ghana, a Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science degree from UDS, and an MBA from Accra Business School.
He is currently the NDC Ashanti Regional Secretary and has held a number of leadership positions, including President of NAHSAG and NUGS, where he championed student welfare and national advocacy.
“On behalf of the leadership and rank and file of the NDC in the Ashanti Region, we express our heartfelt gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for appointing Dr. Frank Amoakohene, our regional secretary, as the Ashanti Regional Minister-Designate”,he stated.
According to him, the Regional Secretary has performed admirably, unifying the party in the region and advancing our shared vision.
“We, in the Ashanti Region, are excited about this choice, and we are confident that Dr. Amoakohene will represent your administration with distinction, serving the Ashanti people diligently and delivering on the government’s vision to reset and transform Ghana,” he said.
He acknowledged that the appointment has inspired great confidence among party members and the people of Ashanti and the nation as a whole and they congratulate Dr. Amoakohene while assuring H.E John Dramani Mahama of the region’s full support to ensure his success in representing him in the region.
“We are hoping for more appointments from the Ashanti Region in the coming days to strengthen the government’s machinery and help build a formidable party in the region,” he stated.
He once again expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama.
