The Moderator of the General Assembly of Presbyterian Church of Ghana Rt. Rev.Prof.Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante (PHD) with the support from the General Assembly Council of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, has declared a three days fasting and prayers from November 28th-30th ,2022 to fervently intercede for the well being of the ghana and its people.
We will be recalled that, on November 5th,2022, the Executive Council of the Church of Pentecost (COP) also declared a three-day fasting and prayer sessions for all members across the country, beginning Thursday, November 10.
According to circulated release intercepted by uniquenewsgh.com ,the church believes the country is current under critical economic crisis which needs fasting and prayers to intercede.
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”.(2chronicles 7- 14)
They are therefore encouraging all congregations to set aside these days mentioned to fast and pray in other to combat the current economic hardship predicaments engulf Ghanaians.
Ministers and Catechists who are in-charge of the various Presbyterian Churches across have been called to lead the special prayers.
