Saudi Pro Football League side Al-Ittihad is interested in signing Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus from English Premier League side West Ham United.
According to American media outlet ESPN, the 23-year-old former Ajax Amsterdam player, who starred in his first season in the EPL with the Hammers, could earn a move to the Asian country.
According to Spotrac, Kudus earns £90,000 ($114,351.30) a week in salary, with Brazilian Lucas Paqueta earning £150,000 a week as West Ham’s highest-paid player. Sources indicate Kudus will earn $300,000 a week in Saudi Arabia.
Al-Ittihad competes in the Saudi League, which has gained massive popularity in recent seasons over the lucrative transfers of top footballers, including Cristiano Ronaldo. Al-Ittihad have former UEFA Champions League winners Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante on their roster.
