The former president John Mahama on his last day of building the nation tour in the Ashanti region, met the various executive heads of the Suame Industrial community for their inputs to build the new Ghana ahead if he assumes power in 2025.
The various heads of the association outlined some important issues to the former president. If it is implemented, it will help the economy grow and help the people have a good livelihood.
Meanwhile, after the various inputs from the heads of affairs of the Suame industrial community, the former president says his next government will focus more on an industrial estate to help boost local production and will be used as an export for foreign exchange to support the growth of the economy.
He said the industrial estate will also be used to support the private sector players who have an interest in setting up factories to produce more made-in-Ghana goods for export.
It will also be used as a job arena for the youth who have an interest in the artisan field and industrial production.
This will help Ghana build more billionaires to support the economy.
Meanwhile, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Atwima Nwabiagya South and Chairman of Members of Nwabiagya Garages, Mr Osei Boamah Wisdom, has called on the next NDC government to help develop their newly acquired 200-acre land at Nkawie for artisans in the area.
According to him, his hope to contest for the parliamentary seat is to fight for artisans in the next Parliament if he wins.
He was speaking to the media when some artisans in the region met former President John Dramani Mahama at Suame Magazine.
