Former airport security director Hopeson Yaovi Adorye has slammed executives of the ruling New Patriotic Party in his latest outburst after being sacked from the party in November of this year.
In an interview with Evans-Nkum on Akoma FM’s evening political show M’abato, the former NPP parliamentary candidate for the Kpone Katamanso said he disposed of his NPP membership card when he heard he was sacked from the party.
“I paid money for my party card; I have long flushed it,” he stated.
Hopeson Adorye was among four strong NPP activists who failed to maintain ties with the former trade and industry minister, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten after he resigned from the party ahead of its presidential primaries.

Background
On November 20, 2023, a release signed by the general secretary of the ruling party expelled the former general secretary of the party, Nana Ohene Ntow; former communication director Buaben Asamoah; former Madina MP, Boniface Sadique Abubakar; and Hopeson Adorye.
The four are now active members of the Movement for Change, with Alan Kyeremanten as the founder.
