President Akufo-Addo has assured the trading community of economic stability once government concludes discussions with the international monetary fund.
He however urged traders to cease the abnormal pricing of food stuff on the market as government mulls over plans to ensure things are back to normal.

Prices of goods and services have soared, a situation traders attribute to the depreciation of the cedi against the US dollar.
There are however concerns that traders are taking advantage of the situation to rip off consumers.
At a meeting with leadership of traders at the jubilee house, president Akufo-Addo assured them of Government’s resolve to address the challenges.
The president later met members of the Ghana employers association whose president tabled some recommendations.
Meanwhile, government will from Thursday hold a three day cabinet retreat to review discussions so far with the IMF.
