The minister of information Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah says the president of the republic Nana Akufo Addo will soon address the nation on current economic hardship.
Addressing the media today ,the President will officially brief the country on the current economic conditions and measures he and his economic management team are adopting to stabilize the cedi and make investors confident in the economy.
Minister of Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah told the press this morning some of the meetings that will be going on within this week before the President’s Nation’s address.
He said ,Bank of Ghana to meet with banks & forex bureaus over cedis depreciation, the economic management team meeting to apprise itself of latest numbers and cabinet to meet Thursday, Friday and Saturday on economic situation.
According to him, the government has able to received some amount of dollars to stabilize the economy ,so the Bank of Ghana meeting with the stakeholder tomorrow will determining the actual trading rate of dollar to Ghanaians.
“The cabinet will meet on Thursday, Friday and Saturday on Bank of Ghana report before President address to Ghanaian”,Oppong Nkrumah disclosed.
