A 24-year-old Bertha Baidoo a mother of two from Sefwi Aboduabo a farming community in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal in the Western North Region is taking part in the ongoing BECE examination as a candidate at Domenebo examination centre.
Uniquenewsgh News disclosed that it is true that she has given birth to two kids but what motivated her so much is this proverb it is better late than never.
She admitted that although she is a single mother of two, she has realised that there is much time ahead of her to reshape her life for a better future.
She added that after giving birth for the second time she was still having the confidence to go back to the classroom to continue her education but her friends were teasing her that it can never be possible for her to go back to the classroom and due to that she decided to prove them wrong so she disclosed her intention to her mother for her support and assistance.
Bertha Baidoo was optimistic and confident to get a better grade to further to the SHS and beyond to become a responsible adult in future.
She pleaded that, she can’t achieve her ambition without support because the family is not in a good position to make her dream come true financially.
The mother Madam Gladys Serwaah also explained that, after listening to her daughter very deeply she agreed to support her decision with her fullest support and advice for her to achieve her ambition.
Headmaster of Sefwi Wanchi M/A JHS Mr Eric Kwame Adinkra also explained that Bertha Baidoo upon her age and given birth respected the school authorities and the student body as well. She involved herself in all the school’s sporting activities and she doesn’t feel shy in asking questions in other to get better.
