38-Year-Old Farmer Shoots Girlfriend Over ‘Chop Money

A 38-year-old farmer has shot his girlfriend a 45-year woman at Breman Nkonya near Breman Asikuma in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District of the Central Region.

A report gathered by uniquenewsgh news revealed that Suspect Kwame Popularly known as Otwea Amokua had a misunderstanding with his girlfriend a 45-year woman called Nkrumah over Chop Money.

It is revealed that the suspect always fights with the victim anytime she asks for a Chop Money increase.

Speaking to uniquenewsgh News Nana Yaw Asare the eyewitness Kofi Tawiah who lives in the same house with the victim and six others had information that the suspect has warned to shoot his girlfriend and shot all the six neighbours in the place.

According to the source, the suspect bought a new double-bar gun with some bullets and went and showed it to his friends.

She was then referred to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for Treatment but in critical condition.

The gun of the suspect together with some bullets were retrieved and sent to the Breman Asikuma Police Station.

The Victim is having Four Children but her husband has passed on for sometimes ago.

Meanwhile, police and residents in the Community are manhunting for the suspect.
