The Chiefs and the people of Sekyere Afram plains district have appealed to his Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, to consider the opening of the aforementioned school.
Elders of traditional council and the people, say, the school was cited at the heart of the Sekyere Afram Plains District and the building was started by former president John Mahama time, but up to now it has not been opened yet.
According to them, the inhabitants of the district travel to other districts, to pursue their Senior High School Education of which it has been a thorn in the flesh of the People.
It is in the light Of this that the Chiefs and the people of Drobonso are calling on the president as a matter of urgency commission the school for them.
‘Drobonsohene’, who also doubles as Otumfour Breponhene Nana Dwamena Dankwah Dwebisiaw called on the education minister Hon Yaw Adutwum to commissioned the school soon to allow their children enroll.
“For past seven years now after the NDC government built the school nothing has been done by the NPP government to open the school for the various communities within the district”.
Meanwhile some of the chiefs expressed their disappointment about the NPP government for the neglect of such edifice to rot.
