Drivers and commuters of Sepase ,Ahodwo and Hiawu-Besease in the Atwima Nwabiagya Municipal have called on the government to fix their deplorable road as it is negatively affecting their livelihoods.
According to the commuters ,the road been a major challenge to them over the years but nothing is being done about it by both present and past governments as several appeals yielded no response.
The Sepaase, Ahodwo Hiawu Besease road was awarded to Attachy construction company in 2017 but the road was yet to receive any facelift.
Some drivers who ply the road also spoke to uniquenewsgh reporter, lamented about the poor nature of the road which is having a negative effect on sales making it difficult to transport passengers specially during the rainy season.
They said the road is very bad that every week they have to visit the auto mechanic for repairs.
They added that a completed bridge has left to deteriorate which poses a threat to drivers and commuters.
Assembly member for Ahodwo and Hiawu-Besease, Osei Tutu pleaded with the central government to help the assembly fix the road for farmers in the area be able to transport their foodstuffs to the market centers for sale.
