30-year-old man called Bawumia, who inflicted cutlass wounds on his lover, Ama Kobiri, struck again to killed an informant who disclosed his hideout.
The suspect, who attempted to kill his lover, butchered an informant for disclosing his hideout and went at large.
Bawumia as popularly known allegedly accosted the informant, Jacob Abdulai, in the bush while he was returning from Juaboso market on Thursday evening.
He slashed him with cutlass in his head and face, before fleeing the scene.
The police in the area and residents of Sehwi Afere went on a manhunt for Bawumia when the incident happened.
Information gathered indicated that the suspect has been arrested by the police in Sehwi Wiawso. Sources disclosed that one police befriended the suspect.
He pretended to be a friend of the suspect and subsequently lured him to Sehwi Wiawso where he informed his colleague personnel to arrest the suspect.
The suspect shall be arraigned before the court after investigation.
