E/R: 26 YEAR OLD MAN DROWNS IN GALAMSEY PIT, FAMILY SUSPECTS FOUL PLAY

 

A 26 year old man, Azumah has drown in an illegal minning pit at Kwahu Oframase in the Kwahu West municipality of the Eastern Region which the family of the deceased suspect foul play.

Residents in the Kwahu oframanse township are still in shock about the death.

The deceased identified as Azumah Razak, a 26 year old man got drown in a galamsey pit at Kwahu Oframase on Wednesday. The family has alleged, someone might have caused his death on purpose.

Meanwhile, the youth of Oframanse have blamed the chief and others for supporting illegal mining in the community and asked that it be stopped.

The Oframanse chief ,Nana Afirifa Yamoah, called for calm and assured of lasting solutions after police investigations.
