President Akufo-Addo has directed the Ghana Education Service to reconsider the dismissal of the eight students of Chiana SHS.
It would be recalled that news was rife yesterday about the dismissal of the girls who were seen in a viral video insulting the President
The dismissal received mixed reactions from stakeholders in the educational sector.
But in a letter signed by the PRO of the Education Ministry Kwasi Kwarteng, it stated that the President’s whose attention was drawn to the dismissal has asked the GES through the Ministry of Education to reconsider the dismissal of the girls and look at other forms of punishment to sanction the girls.
The Ghana Education Service is yet to to response to the president’s directive to reconsider the pending punishment of the 8 dismissal students of Chiana Senior High School.
